We are delighted to announce that four excellent projects have now been accepted for publication in Sources in Early Poetics, our edition and translation series with Brill:
John Tzetzes, Commentary on Hermogenes, 4 vols, ed. and trans. Elisabetta Barili, Baukje van den Berg, and Aglae Pizzone
Averroes’ Middle Commentary on Aristotle’s ‘Poetics’ in its Arabo-Latin Translation by Hermann the German, ed. and trans. Frédérique Woerther
Reformation Literary Criticism, ed. and trans. Micha Lazarus, with Nathaniel Hess, Petra Matović, Fraser McIlwraith, and William Theiss
The Hymns of Gianfrancesco Pico della Mirandola: Theory and Practice, ed. and trans. Nathaniel Hess
The projects are in various stages of development, with the first publications expected in 2025–26. We are deeply grateful to the authors, whose work will make an immense contribution to the field.
If you are working on or considering a project that fits the series, please don't hesitate to be in touch with a preliminary inquiry!
