We are very excited to announce that the first publication emerging from the project - a collection of essays titled Poetics before Modernity: Literary Theory in the West from Antiquity to 1700, edited by Vladimir Brljak and Micha Lazarus - has been accepted for publication by Oxford University Press!

The volume redraws the map of premodern poetic thought across the traditional historical and disciplinary boundaries, featuring chapters by some of the leading scholars in this field: Gavin Alexander, Colin Burrow, Rita Copeland, Kathy H. Eden, Roland Greene, Stephen Halliwell, Andrew Laird, Glenn W. Most, Peter T. Struck, Eric Weiskott, and Jon Whitman.
